01

Understand activity at a glance.

The macOS preview helps you see connections, review unusual behavior, and decide what to check next.

01

See connections

See which apps connect and where. File activity needs separate approval and may be unavailable.

02

Spot unusual behavior

Pavu highlights patterns such as large uploads or repeated connections. If it lacks information, it tells you.

03

Review findings

Read clear explanations and suggested next steps in the app. System notifications are not available yet.

04

Stay in control

Pavu suggests what to check or do. It does not block connections in this preview.

Repeated connections Large uploads Unusual ports Unexpected incoming connections
02

Understand behavior without reading content.

PAVU OBSERVES

  • Which app connects to which destination
  • When it connects and how much data it sends
  • File activity, only when access is available and approved

PAVU NEVER COLLECTS

  • The contents of your files or messages
  • Passwords, cookies, or sign-in tokens
  • Network traffic contents

Activity history stays on your Mac and is normally kept for one day. You can pause monitoring or clear it.

Optional location lookup is off by default. If you turn it on, Pavu sends public destination IP addresses to ipapi.co, but not app names or file paths.
